Destination: Delhi-Jaipur-Ranthambore-Bharatpur-Agra

Day 1 :Arrive Delhi
You will be met and assisted on arrival in Delhi and transferred to your downtown
hotel. Rest of the day is free to roam around in Connaught Place. Overnight
is at the hotel
Day 02: In Delhi
This morning tour the capital city. In Old city visit Red Fort built by Emperor
Shah Jahan; Jama Masjid, one of the largest mosques in India; Raj Ghat- the
memorial of Mahatma Gandhi and enjoy a walking tour in Chandni Chowk- the
silver street of Delhi bustling with activity. In the New city visit Qutab
Minar, the tallest stone tower in India; Humayun’s Tomb built in the Indo
Persian style and a predecessor to The Taj Mahal in Agra; India Gate – A War
Memorial Arch. Also drive past the President’s house, Parliament house, Government
secretariat buildings and Connaught place – the heart of New Delhi and a busy
shopping center
Day 03: To Jaipur
This morning you are picked up from your Delhi hotel and travel by private
car to Rajasthan and the famous city of Jaipur. Your driver may not be as
fluent in English as your local guides, but he will have an excellent understanding
of travellers needs and will travel at a comfortable pace throughout your
journey. Jaipur is known as the "pink city" with its buildings of pink and
orange hues and it's a wonderful place to see the colour of Rajasthan and
its people. The palaces and forts of yesteryear that witnessed royal processions
and splendour are now integrated into the daily life of Jaipur. Even your
accommodation for 2 nights is a 19th century mansion with period furniture
in the rooms, extravagant chandeliers in the dining room and decor resembling
a hunting lodge in the sitting room. The gardens and swimming pool make this
a haven nestled in downtown Jaipur
Day 04: In Jaipur
Drive 11 kms in the outskirt of Jaipur city today for a tour of the Amber
Fort - you travel in the footsteps of royalty by elephant back up to the gates
of the fort. In the afternoon your private sightseeing of Jaipur includes
the City Palace, Palace of the Winds and the observatory

Day 05:In Ranthambore National Park
You travel to Ranthambhore and arrive in time for an evening game drive. All
your meals and game drives are included during your stay. Ranthambhore National
Park has been one of Project Tiger's successful sites in Rajasthan. There
is always a slim chance of seeing tiger in India, but even if you don't get
to see a big cat, Ranthambhore is one of India's most scenic parks. There
are many other animals in the National Park and the well-preserved ruins of
Ranthambhore Fort make it a fantastic park to visit. Two nights are spent
at a clean and comfortable tourist class lodge at Sawai Madhopur, close to
the National Park
Day 06: In Ranthambore National Park
You travel to Ranthambhore and arrive in time for an evening game drive. All

Day 07: To Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary
Once again you travel by private car to Bharatpur. People interested in birds
will know Bharatpur for its World Heritage listed bird sanctuary, the Keoladeo
Ghana National Park. This area was originally flooded by the Maharaja so his
hunting trips were successful, but now the sanctuary is a haven and home to
over 400 kinds of birds and many other migratory species. The style of wildlife
viewing here is a highlight in itself, as you travel by bicycle or a cycle-rickshwar
with a local guide who is an expert on the flora and fauna of the park. You
stay over night at one of the haveli hotels outside the park
Day 08 :To Agra
Driving from Bharatpur to Agra you break the journey at Fatehpur Sikri, an
amazing ghost town that was once the capital of the Mughal Empire. Agra is
still associated with the Mughal period and is famous for the magical Taj
Mahal. It's renowned as one of the world's most remarkable cities with its
immense wealth of architecture, handicrafts and jewellery. In the 16th century
Agra became an established centre of art, science and culture. An overnight
stay gives you enough time to explore the back streets of this city that attracts
nearly every tourist who comes to India
Day 09 :To Delhi
This day starts unlike any other - with a sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal!
Your local guide will escort you on a private tour of this awesome monument
to love. You will have time to appreciate the impressive buildings and of
course make sure you have plenty of film in the camera today! Your sightseeing
also includes the Agra Fort, on the banks of the Yamuna River across from
the Taj Mahal. Then you return by private car to Delhi and will be dropped
off at your hotel by evening. Spend your last night by dining in one of the
fine dine restaurants that Delhi boasts of, or simply relax by the poolside.
Day 10 :Depart Delhi
before being picked up again by our representative for the airport. You will
be assisted at check in with your onward flight
