Day 01: Delhi
Arrive Delhi, transfer to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 02: Delhi – Bridavan & Mathura – Agra
After breakfast, leave Delhi by bus for Bridavan and Mathura. Bridavan is
a traditional Hindu city dedicated to Lord Krishna. You will visit the narrow
lanes of the city, the Bridavan Gardens and the banks of the Yamuna River.
Continue on to Agra, the capital of the Mughal empire under the Shah Jahan
and the site of his wife’s world-famous mausoleum: the Taj Mahal. You will
visit the Taj Mahal in time to watch the setting sun cast its rays on the
perfect marble dome.

Day 03: Agra – Fatehpur Sikri - Agra
Morning sightseeing of Agra’s Red Fort and of the Persian style mausoleum
of Itamad Ud Dhaula. In the afternoon you will visit Fatehpur Sikri: the capital
city abandoned by Emperor Akbar in 1586.
Overnight at the hotel.
Day 04: Agra – Orchha
Leave Agra by train at 08:15 in the morning for Jhansi. From Jhansi, drive
to Orcha, a medieval town with a glorious frescoed palace now in some disrepair.

Day 05: Orchha – Khajuraho
After breakfast, drive to Khajuraho (5 hours). In the afternoon, visit the
10th and 11th century Chandela Dynasty temples famous fortheir erotic carvings.
Overnight at the hotel.
Day 06: Khajuraho - Bandhavgarh
After breakfast, drive to Bandhavgarh (222 km – 6 hours). Visit the Sharda
temples at Maihar on the way. Visit the Bandhavgarh National Park. This park
is one of the few remaining areas of natural forest in the Indian subcontinent.
It is populated by deer, blue bull, chinkara, sloth bear, wild boar, leopard
and the rare white tiger. Overnight at the Camp / hotel.
Day 07: Bandhavgarh
Early morning elephant ride safari to view the wild –life. Return to camp
for a late breakfast. Second safari in the evening. Overnight at the hotel
camp.
Day 08: Bandhavgarh
After an early morning jeep safari in the Park. Return to camp for late breakfast.
After breakfast, drive to Rewa (122 kms – 3 1/ 2 hours). Stop at the Govindgarh
Lake Palace for lunch. Overnight at the Rewa Palace Camp.
Day 09: Bandhavgarh - Allahabad
After breakfast, drive to Allahabad (172 kms – 6 Hours). Allahabad (formerly
known as Prayag) is one of the most sacred sites of Hinduism.
Day 10:Allahabad
Early morning departure to visit the Sangam, the confluence of the three holy
rivers: the Ganga, the Yamuna and the mythical Saraswati. Continue from there
to the Ghat, or river bank, in order to board boat and start sailing down
the Ganges. Sail 45 kms to the 500 year – old temples of Sirsa. Continue sailing
to Vindhayachal to visit the famous temples dedicated to the Mother Goddess.
Drive to Mirzapur for your overnight stay.
Day 11: Allahabad – Chunar
Continue sailing down the Ganges to Chunar by the afternoon. Visit the Chunar
Fort overlooking the Ganges. Overnight at Chunar.
Day 12: Chunar – Varanasi
After breakfast, visit the Jargo Dam Lake. Later return to the Ganges for
your last day on the river. Pass Ramnagar Fort then slowly sail to Varanasi
to view the sunset over the city’ s ghats. Overnight at the hotel in Varanasi.
Day 13: Varanasi
Morning tour to the city of Varanasi. Afternoon visit of Sarnath where the
Buddha preached his first sermon. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 14: Varanasi – Delhi
Morning free. Afternoon flight to Delhi. Evening departure for Italy.
